METAMORPHOSIS IV

Metamorphosis captures the moment of transformation when organic plant evolves into an equine form, when living being journeys through kingdoms- from plant to animal, and matter rises to spirit- what once was implanted now breathes with strength, grace, and ancient knowing.  METAMORPHOSIS represents the profound interconnection of all life.  Trees, the Earth's keystone species sustains life, sequesters carbon, releases oxygen, and gives rise to the noble horse, radiating power, beauty, and wisdom.

METAMORPHOSIS a fusion of fire and earth-- forged bronze seamlessly joined with the branches of trees, created through skilled artistry, uniting disparate materials into a singular form.  To honor the immeasurable value of trees, a base of reclaimed wood is used for mounting.

The inspiration for each DreamHorse arises from a deep mysterious place-- the confluence of my dreams, experiences, and passions.  DreamHorses are elusive, unpredictable spirits.  During the artistic process I release control to the emergence of the horse: graceful & leggy-- part fantasy, part reality, and part aspiration.
